Big News!

As part of The Factory at Franklin’s commitment to making the Boiler Room Theatre the best theatre experience in Franklin, The Boiler Room Theatre is pleased to announce exciting changes coming to our venue.  Among many changes to come next year, BRT audiences will enjoy better in-theatre lighting and sound as well as a newly designed lobby.  Performers will also be treated to better dressing rooms and facilities.  To allow for these renovations, The Boiler Room Theatre will be on hiatus starting in January 2014 with a planned completion and reopening in May of 2014.  It will be the same Boiler Room you have grown to love with some wonderful changes.    We look forward to building upon our tradition of excellence in Franklin and its surrounding areas.

At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes and the Texas law enforcement's worst nightmares. Fearless, shameless, and alluring, their electrifying story of love, adventure and crime captured the excited attention of an entire country. Now, the most notorious couple of the twentieth century takes on a whole new adventure: the stage.

When BONNIE AND CLYDE meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run from every southern state's police force, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer.

BONNIE AND CLYDE is a thrilling and sexy musical with a non-traditional score, combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music.

An unruly bunch of bright, funny sixth-form (senior) boys in a British boarding school are, as such boys will be, in pursuit of sex, sport, and a place at a good university - generally in that order. In all their efforts, they are helped and hindered, enlightened and bemused, by a maverick English teacher who seeks to broaden their horizons in sometimes undefined ways, and by a young history teacher who questions the methods, as well as the aim, of their schooling. In The History Boys, Alan Bennett raises - with gentle wit and pitch-perfect command of character - not only universal questions about the nature of history and how it is taught but also questions about the purpose of education toda
